Ian
I think 330 for DC... 415 for Balt temps are pretty mild... might just be fun to watch here at least.

TalcottWx
temps are pretty mild... might just be fun to watch here at least. They are mild, for sure. I have gained a new mental definition of a warm BL here. However, I can hardly remember a disappointing squall situation. Brief heavy snow with visibility well under a mile usually brings a smile to my face and a weenie rush to the soul. The cold temps aloft being advected combined with the heavy echos will have no problem making it all snow here likely. Haven't heard much of a mention of SG though but it is usually big ol' fat dendrites in squall/windex events. Can't look myself, BUFKIT ports are blocked by my university. I just expect a half hour of mod-hvy with likely potential to accumulate on grassy surfaces.

I remember one I think in 07 after dark that pummeled us with 1" pretty quick.. Hence wanting it to come closer to sunset.
WVclimo
Its arriving here later than my earlier guess. Visibility is dropping and some snow has begun. Temp at the high for the day at 36. Wind right now is variable 5-10 mph. Expect that to ramp up pretty sharply as the barometer has really plunged.

WinterWxLuvr
The squall line here was about as lame as lame gets. About 10 minutes of snow at a temp of 36.5. I guess snow will stick to snow, though. Good thing is that the temps are dropping. Might hang on to the last half inch or so that remains. I guess one could always hope for snow showers to sneak through the mountains. Good luck further east. Maybe it'll blow up into something more.
