nw baltimore wx
i think a lot of the enhancement is just the rain changing to snow area. i doubt it's more than solid mod anywhere. but, you could get up to 1" if it keeps going. I was going to say that it seems like the area of enhancement is in the transition zone. Not the sticka...er, coverage zone.

Ian
the euro is still pretty dry if it matters. the good news is it screws 99% of new england, if you're into that sort of thing.
aldie 22
actually, your west of that bright band arent you. im like dt with local geography. The radar is goofy....since the beam/gap is over my area....actually doesn't show any precip over my house...and yes the heavier stuff is to my East but it has been light/moderate for a few hours now...deck slats are covered now...still no street coverage...that part sucks..must be the sun angle
nw baltimore wx
Not the thread for the question, but since it's quiet, does anyone know the last time we went through a winter in LWX without a WSW for the cities of Baltimore and DC? Or heavy snow warning.

nw baltimore wx
I'm not positive but pretty sure....What I do know is we have had one to my knowledge every winter since, assuming we had one on 12.5.07? I trust you. I have to. You're like Snow Man. Do you remember one in '01 - '02? On thread topic, all snow here and covering all. This is likely going to be my best event of the season. Chase
I'm not positive but pretty sure....What I do know is we have had one to my knowledge every winter since, assuming we had one on 12.5.07? We did not have one on that day, but we had one on 2/21-22 2008 for ice. 12/5 was a Snow Advisory. So you're safe. Snowing in Harrisonburg, finally. nw baltimore wx
1/19/02 we were under a WSW...gymengineer can confirm....it didnt verify...we changed over to rain.... It's pretty incredible that you can recall that, either with or without notes. I can recall the day because it was my birthday, but for the life of me, I can't recall the details of the weather. I can place myself in the moment of my life, ie, career, personal life, who I was sleeping with, ... ...but the weather? Nope. By the way, the Vingetti twins? Fahget about it! Solid snow here. Beautiful outside.
