Fozz
Trust me 3/4" on grassy areas is not much better. I disagree. This winter, anything that whitens the ground will make me happy (and that should really be true for every winter).

I do not mind 3/4" but it is so much better when it is on the streets. This winter i will take it on grassy areas but it still sucks.

Amped
I'm glad today sucked. Wouldn't want our record for suckiest winter ever ruined by this little piece of crap, or have October 29th dethrowned as the best event of the season. It still stands that way in Frederick Hagerstown and Westminster.

Amped
Today was better than Oct. 29. Sad to say. Hard to say, they both melted signifigantly as they fell. I had 0.5 here when I came home at 6:pm. October 29th and Saturdays event both topped it I think.

FrederickWX
Those are some awesome pics, Frederick! How much snow was it? About three inches at the higher elevation points. However, most spots in the valley only had about an inch. One more, from Pine Rock on Catoctin Mountain. FrederickWX
Nice photos...what was the location (Gambril?). With the exception of the photo taken in Burkittsville, all were shot at Pine Rock on Catoctin Mountain (elevation 1200') and Gathland Park (elevation 1000'), in western Frederick County.
