mappy
You're pretty far north. I think precip was your biggest worry. Things are running a bit fast but not sure it changes all that much other than perhaps pushing high ends of forecast range except DTs. I'll take whatever I can get. Benchmark
Driving from AA to Westminster. It went from rain to snow going up the hill on 695 on the west side from 95 up to Wilkins ave. big flakes!
Reale WX
Oh God no........... I think up here we only have 2-3 hours left of meaningful precip, so realistically I expect maybe an inch at best if we get another nice band. Yes, 2-3 hours from this initial shot but look for one more area of precip to develop around midnight... the cutoff will likely be N. MD but somewhere in Central MD should see additional minor accumulations

Deck Pic
I guess light/mod snow can fall and accumulate during the day in the mid 30s in February with a torchy boundary layer. Of course I already knew this.

WVclimo
looks like that prior grass warmth was killer. I think it really helped that it was 24 degrees here overnight. It did spike to 41 before the snow, but with no sun all day, the ground was nicely ready to receive the good rates.
North Balti Zen
Its not really sticking, but it is pretty. Have not kept up at all with the modeling or now-casting today, any chance of a surprise 2 or 3 inches now Or are we still looking at just a trace event with no real chance to stick?
