dendrite
The tech guys are tweaking things. The DNS has propagated for most, but there's still some out there where it may take more time.

I did the flush thing, correctly I think, and recycled the router/ modem, nothing works. Thanks in advance.

Here is how: -Go to System Preferences -Click on "Network" -In the bottom right-hand corner click on "Advanced..." -Click on the "DNS" tab along the top ...-Click on the "+" in the bottom left-hand corner next to "IPv4 or IPv6 addresses" -In the box that appears type "4.2.2.1" and hit enter -Click the "+" again -In the box that appears type "4.2.2.2" and hit enter === Switching to OpenDNS or Google DNS
Ian
Also, one of our members from Comcast who cannot get in indicated he got in touch with them and their last DNS cycle was the 14th so the next should be by tomorrow should the 24-78 hr rule work. BayStatuh2NoVA
On Verizon and I *was* having to use a DNS workaround. But -- as of 10:10 pm, no longer have to use the DNS workaround for Verizon.
weatherwiz
I'm trying to help someone out using vista and it isn't working. I gave them the instructions on how to change the DNS address by going into notepad through the steps but when they hit save they get this message: Cannont create the C://WIndows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct.

rickrd
I'm writing this to you via a site theat hides my IP address. I have not been able to get on the American WX site for 2 days now, nor the model page. Is there a problem with my IP address or is it a matter of the new server changes. I can not access via any of my home computers but can access at my work computer. American is a great site and I'm saddened I can not access at home. Please Advise. Thanks, RIck
