Brian5671
Bump. No one cares how much snow you think we will get. Use the banter thread. which is pretty funny since the NAM says most get nothing!!!
psv88
Fellas, I hate to say for you guys, since i am missing whatever storm you think we will get, that this thing is not happening, there has been zero concensus on even one model run for a large snowstorm here...i feel bad for the board, getting their hopes up to be let down again. I just sense that people are grasping at straws to find the storm they want, but it is not in the cards, not this winter. I just dont want weenie suicides again...its been a rough winter

In a winter where nothing has gone right and we've had only 3 storms since 11/1/11 that have yielded over 1 inch of QPF....

Brian5671
Feb. 1987 was not friendly for you. I lived in SE PA back then-IIRC, it was a big 18 inch dump of slop?

Brian5671
remember it well-was an overnight storm and was not forecast that well. Got a surprise day off from school which was a rarity then. I do remember it compacting to 5 or 6 inches by the end of the next day-the water content was unreal.

Brian5671
No torch like some people were saying 40-50's are a torch when our ave high is around 40.... This winter has been one long torch from beginning to end. No cold air anywhere even if we get any accumulation from this storm, it's gone in 1-2 days

Stormlover74
I'm sure we'll see at least one or two 55+ days. Headed toward a very mild month, 5-6 above normal. The only thing that will keep it down a bit is the averages start really climbing now, from 40-41 to mid 40s by month's end. 40-50's are a torch when our ave high is around 40....
