Brian5671
Central Park at .2 of an inch of snow for the month--I busted. LOL.
pazzo83
Central Park recorded 0.2 inches of snow yesterday by the way. There was a nice dusting in the park last night that wasn't evident at all until you actually got to the park (surrounding midtown the ground was just wet). It was nice to see the park covered in white again, even though it was barely anything. Central Park in the snow is awesome.

MJO812
I think we have to watch this weekend's system. Mjo is now in 8 and that is a favorable phase. Winter might not be over just yet.

Isotherm
Bring on spring enough of this Quite frankly, I'm tired of reading this talk on the forums. True winter fans will hold on through March, and that's what I'm doing. We've got nothing better to look forward to - spring weather sucks around here until mid April at the earliest, sometimes May, or June...
Stormlover74
Stand up comedians are usually pretty jaded and sarcastic, he's way too positive. Motivational speaker maybe, politician? CooL
there is no high pressure but there is a lot of confluence and sub pv's.
mattinpa
any cold air? a storm taking the right track with this airmass ain't going to do anything Looks cold enough as VA even sees snow.. I think the moderate rain event and the cold air that comes after it may actually help.
supermeh
there is no high pressure but there is a lot of confluence and sub pv's. xteThis storm can't cut into the lakes with confluence like that. This will either be an OTS storm or a coastal that will come up the coast to a certain latitude.

Edge Weather
Yes, soundings are nice. Temps start out in the upper 30's to around 40 in the city itself, with mid-30's just NW and and drop about 5 degrees from there when the precip starts. NYC has .09 precip with +1.9 as the precip is falling. Caldwell, NJ is .07 precip with a surface temp at .8 to give you an idea. any cold air? a storm taking the right track with this airmass ain't going to do anything
jm1220
Euro more north than 0z with more powerful low.. step in the riight direction at least. Hopefully the northern stream can act more as an amplifier of the flow to guide the storm in and not as a kicker. We need a nice disturbance to either phase in or buckle the flow.
