Brian5671
How can it be a bust when new models show almost nothing? it will be a bust to the general public who watched tv newscasts call for 1-3 or 2-4 and opened their newscasts with pictures of folks going to home depot and public works getting plows ready-my wife just got off the phone with her mother who said that they would be busy shoveling tomorrow. LongBeachSurfFreak
Yeah opening the news with crew loading salt is going to make this a general public bust. I am still going with a coating similar to wednesday here. Though i still think there will be a jack pot approaching 6 inches somewhere in eastern LI/CT. jm1220
Luckily, "winters" that are this atrocious are just as rare around here as the winters that are constant snow blitzes. Take out the freak Oct storm, and many of us could be destined for top 10 least snowy/warmest if the pattern doesn't really turn around.

The Euro has been bouncing around just like the other models in the long range. Let's just hope it doesn't look that way when we are a few days out. Central Park has only had 7.2 inches so far this season, which means if they get 4 inches or less for the rest of the season (which certainly seems possible), then it will be a top ten least snowy winter for them. MJO812
What a terrible storm. This storm looked so good on Thursday. I can not believe that all the models would bust like this. I am ready for spring.

Sundog
Bring on the 60s and 70s please... You can keep the 70s until at least May. I wouldn't mind all of April being 65, sunny, dry and with a light breeze. I can only dream of such a utopian spring.
MJO812
I will never believe the models until the same day. What a depressing turn of events. We went from 3-6 inches to 0. This might be the worst winter ever.
FPizz
I'd take that 65 too. I start softball then, and it always seems to be 40 and gross.
jm1220
Wow. I would've hoped for at least a coating on the grass, but we don't even have that outside-just some swirling, pixie dust snowflakes and wet ground. I was having a bad feeling about this when the models all started backing down yesterday, should've just gone all in and said nada. To be honest though, the only models that really gave us something were a few GFS and NAM runs, although even the dry models seemed too generous in the end. Pathetic. Only this season. If you think about it the models were just as poor last year. Only difference is the last minute changes last year were positive.

psv88
So we have had our 4 snowstorm of the winter. Puts me at 5.0 for the season...average out to 1.25 per event. Not bad.
