uncle W
so far the coldest temperature of the season is 13 set in January...It could be the coldest we see this year unless we get an ending to the winter like 1950...That year's coldest temperature came on 2/27 I believe...Could it happen in March?...Only seven years had the coldest temperature of the winter in March... 1889-90...3/7...7 degrees... 1990-91...3/2...9 degrees... 1901-02...3/14 8 degrees... 1905-06...3/7...7 degrees... 1931-32...3/10 15 degrees... 1979-80...3/1...10 degrees... 2001-02...3/5...19 degrees... also 2/5... 1974-75 almost had its coldest temperature in March...16 degrees compared to the 15 that came earlier... Jefflaw77
This winter, has to be the most boring winter, hands down..... It's just non eventful day in and day out.. Will we see a few inches of snow this weekend w/ this "artic" outbreak? After this cold outbreak this weekend, I think I am done... Let spring come early and let this be a Spring of 91 repeat.. Would love to see temps in the 70's early on... In fact, I think it was in high 70's to 80's each day in may of 91... I don't know if i want that.. But bring on spring at this rate... We were due for this type of winter..
Stormlover74
We've had worse, but its pretty close. The models' teasing of events and pattern changes has made it more frustrating. If there was literally nothing to track, no snow, no cold, no storms it probably would be easier to take. This winter, has to be the most boring winter, hands down..... Edge Weather
GFS is a nice hit at 192 hrs. It crashes the temps as the low strengthens off the NJ coast. It looks like a quick 6-12 would be possible as it shows .75- 1 inch in that time frame
MJO812
Much different than the previous run. It will most likely change.

Where are we, Cuba? We were in the low teens with no snowcover with warmer 850's in January. I think it's safe to say that we will dip into the teens
