mattinpa
pretty ugly run of the euro. Not only does it not have the gfs storm, but the SE ridge is building at the end of the run. My mind is already in spring and summer, but sadly my body is still stuck in this horrible winter At least it's not into the Euro's wheelhouse zone. I still want winter since there's been so little winter, but others may react differently.
MJO812
HM This is nobody's storm and god is that getting old. This storm has been on the radar by many people for a while now based on AAM /MJO wave breaking techniques.
BxEngine
This forum reads like a goddamn Romper room. Mets who fly east for 4" of snow and believe "omens" telling optimists to take off the snow goggles, weenies thinking the more they talk, the better the snow chances are, the pessimists claiming victory by using the highly scientific "this winter just doesnt want to snow" method....its no wonder earthlight and a few others post more in other sub forums or at 3 am when no one else is around. /rant

pazzo83
Gross. I wonder what the winter record (in DJF) is for positive departure streaks. We are at 13 right now, and today looks to be ever so slightly above normal.

Mr Torchey
Torch (again) tomorrow. Euro ens have lost our storms chances for this week. Most guidance points to a very warm period mid month following a quick cool down later next week, trying times indeed.
