Yea the ridge is imperative, it slows the progressiveness and can help allow something to amplify/phase which can bring the storm north. Like I said before, I am not calling for a storm, just pointing out some stuff that I find interesting and somewhat favorable. Figure if this current pattern garnered so much attention, then next weekend is definitely worth a look. Have time to watch things unfold, would love to see all those signals remain/be real, then we can talk come tuesday. Your point by the way is HUGE, the trough out west is a terrible sign and it forces the weak ridge to roll east collapsing the pattern and shunting everything east. I tore my acl in my right knee 5 years ago, and just found out u tore my left acl a few weeks ago. The thought of recovery again makes me nauseous.
