None of the snow this winter has brought visibilities down like that and had that heavy of snow here at any time. Also, there was alot of melting and mixing going on at the radar beams height so some of the snow then was bigger in size also creating a higher reflectivity. This snow squall that we just had was loaded with snow, huge flakes and small ones alike and blowing around.
