Good thing you did not post this in another region you would be on break...... ;)

Why???? for saying im stoked its going to be nearly 60 and sunny today? Should I sit inside all day and be depressed about the lack of snow.....................should I whine about how bad the winter was?? LOL, I think I will choose to have fun, play in the sun and enjoy another gift from mother nature. This is perfect, the boys in Maine get there snow, and I get sun and a torch, life is good and everyone is happy.

Enjoy the bugs and mud Joe, lol.

I actually had fun playing soccer and hide and seek in our shoeless yard with my daughter yesterday. Then I skied while it snowed

New England is da best

Mud? No mud, no frozen ground, I will take pics today out on the golf course!! There are bugs though!!

Serious drama in the Mid-Atlantic thread during their snow event over last weekend. Peeps from New England getting trashed by the MA-forum trolls just for congratulating them. You'd have been excoriated. Have fun on the tees, amigo.

Gracias! Good luck on the snow prospects this weekend........viva la gfs?

I just reported him three times. I can't have those types of insults go unchecked, it insults my delicate ego. I just spent 10 minutes in the fetal position rocking back and forth doing my stewart smallie. Insulting my snow is like a direct insult against my kids or my mother. Fighting words. Mental stability is highly overrated.

This should be pinned.

Your about the same swing speed as me driver wise, I have a low launch, Need 10.5 degrees, Have the Titleist 909D with a voodo stiff shaft, May have to try one on demo days, Our pro has a launch monitor

I had the exact same driver 2 yrs ago, loved it but spun the piss out of it. Hit it dead straight though. No two swings are alike, just have to see what the number say. That 909D is a very good driver and if your numbers are good might not be any benefit. BUT, for me the RHT launches high, barely spins and hangs in the air forever, then rolls out. The new 910 spins too much for me too.

I would prefer to be talking groomed trails about now but what the hell. Going to be in the mid 50's tomorrow, looks like a day to head to Plymouth and play Crosswinds with everyone else in Eastern Ma.

I hit the 909D ok, I luv the voodoo shaft, Avg drives are in the 260-280 range with a few over 300 yds, As i get older though the 300's are not as prevelant, I could not find the right adjustment on the 910 head and did not care for it as much, But i def could use a higher launch angle, I will give one a try, Back on topic, Hopefully will be able to put some miles on the sled after this weekend here.

Yeah, that shaft is a great shaft. I'm one who believes it's mostly the shaft these days but the techies tell me the heads are all different. I do know that the RHT is a huge difference for me.

0 miles on the Cheetah for me this year. 0 on the ZR too. Looks promising for North country, hope you get some miles in.

Thanks, I agree that the head helps, But it is the shafts, I do some club assembly and regrips and repairs on the side, I built my son his drivers but his swing speeds approach tigers and he needs XS shafts, UST pro launch, He has fractured 3 driver clubheads by collapsing the soles behind the face, 2 of them were Nike Sumos

Wow. I never had that type of SS. Back in the late 90's I could launch a Cal BB about 280 carry legit, but I think I maxed out at about 118 ss. Arthritis and aging has knocked that down a lot. But I still play x-100's in my irons mostly to keep the flight down. I launch and spin high so it helps even if it takes 5-7yds off a 7 iron. Also the dispersion is much less with the 100's. Like I said earlier, everyone has a diff swing, loads the club different and to each his own.

He is an animal, He drives par 4's at our course quite often, You should see the reaction on some people faces when the get to the tee and we are still waiting while the next group ahead of us is on the green, They look at us as what are you waiting for, He is a 2 handicap as well

Almost all the snow from last night is gone

It hung around here until about 9-930 when the sun came out. Total annihilation in under 15 minutes, not even shady locations were spared. Thermometer reading 50.9 degrees, third time this month above 50. That's one thing that's interesting about this winter's torch, I cant remember even one record daily high temperature all year. Just the cumulative effect of day after day of 5-15 degree positive departures has been relentless.
