The streghthening sun is more and more noticable with each passing day too, it's really starting to warm the inside of the car and your skin when your facing it. But that doesn't mean our chances of more snow this year are nil. Look at today/tonight, I reached 44 or 45 today and 4 hours later with temps above freezing still managed to have snow accumulate on pavement. Obviously I will be surprised to see any white when I wake up in the morning besides the one pile I have remaining from shoveling previous snowfalls.

Didn't even use the snowblower once this year, October KU was light enough that I decided to enjoy it and shovel. Glad I did because that was the only memorable storm this year so it was nice to savor it and shovel.

I only used mine in October. Could have used it on Jan 12 but we just rode over it.

Still have a tiny oatch of snow left, plus tonight's coating- quarter inch

New irons on the horizon for me this year, Played long enough with the 804's, Either going to be the Titliest AP1's or the AP2's......... :)

I'm a Mizuno guy for irons, but I do like the AP line. Do yourself a favor and try the Razor hawk, get on a launch monitor. No spin, it's crazy. My Titleist driver was spinning like 5500 and the RHT is like 2400. That's 25yds. Of course depends on swing speed, if really low you need spin. Mine isn't crazy either 106-108mph in mid season. Give it a try.

Your about the same swing speed as me driver wise, I have a low launch, Need 10.5 degrees, Have the Titleist 909D with a voodo stiff shaft, May have to try one on demo days, Our pro has a launch monitor

Have done that a couple times this winter too, during some slop storm where I had an inch or two then 5 minutes of sleet and a half inch of rain afterwards. Kind of a mistake as it froze rock hard the following night, but thank's to ullr this torch winter took care of it and in no time i was back to the driveway surface. Last year I didn't see the driveway from right after Christmas till the end of Feb, had about 4 inches of totally compacted packed snow. Miss those days.

Yeah, same here. We had a good ice buildup for a while. Became awful after one of the mornings where we had a quick shot of powder.

Now it is bare, with only sand from earier on it. Even tonight, it did not stick on most of my driveway (only where shadows from the house/trees keep it a little cooler)

Was great skiing in snow tonight, though

I had similar issues with that light dusting afterward, absolutely trecherous. Same situation here only stuck on shaded areas but still semi impressive considering it was in the mid 40's today and well it's winter 2011-2012.

It is good to see snow falling, I'm sure it was nice to be at the mountain and have some natural stuff falling to give that ambiance of how it's supposed to feel there. It's a bummer when your there and the only white you see is on the trails and the surrounding environment is bare.

Your PD week guests are in for a helluva skiing week.

I hope it all breaks right... the mood in town is like this board right now. We need something to get the spirit going again. Just imagine if your entire town was filled with snow lovers (none of this TV weatherman "oh well the good news is the snowstorm went out to sea" type stuff), like this board, and they you have a crappy winter. There's no one happy about it. A nice foot of snow would be just what the town needs to get its vibe back. Such is life in a ski town.
