Awful doesn't quite cover it. Ghastly, deplorable, harrowing, and repulsive work a bit better. I'm an optimist so I'll look at the bright side. This would be a very heavy rain even for a summer thunderstorm. I've lived in this house for the past four years and I've never seen runoff anywhere close to this.
