NeffsvilleWx
lol what a kick in the balls. just saw the wgal predictor and carlisle-hbg are the big losers pulling in a .4 on their predictor model. hahahahaha Eh, Middletown should manage around an inch according to 00z NAM and GFS, I think you'll get a little more than 0.4. Wunderground says 2-4" for hbg, 1" for Carlisle
Itunis
Band tomorrow looks niceeee Looks tasty. Cartops here are white, and there is a light dusting on the ground. Still snowing very lightly. as it has been for hours.
PennMan
Nice light snow here in Lebanon County at the moment at 30.7° ...looks like we should be far enough east to stay in light snow for the night. I'd say there is about 0.3" or so right now...maybe 1.5" by morning and then the chance for another 0.5-1.0" tomorrow with the frontal passage. This winter, I'll take every flake possible. MAG5035
Ended up with a moderate coating, onto waiting for the arctic frontal stuff to come on thru.
pawatch
Nice website! Yeah and we even get our own 48 -hour personal forecasts from one of their mets. No accumulation here this morning. In fact not much sign of any snow. I see round 2 is heading our way.
pawatch
According to these maps, not a bad snowfall.
PennMan
1.0" on the nose here in Lebanon County, still snowing very lightly. I'm hoping we can see another coating to an inch from the frontal passage later today, but it's not too often that we get more than a few flakes from these kind of events. Voyager
Front is through Pittsburgh. Temps falling into the teens in OH. Guess I'm going to be using my torch a lot tonight. I haul spring water now, and all the hose fittings and truck valves are going to freeze up during my trips.
CoraopolisWx
Front is through Pittsburgh. Temps falling into the teens in OH. That is affirmative. Winds are gusty, however we seem to have gotten jipped out of the sustained heavy squall, I thought we might receive.
Superstorm
About 1.5" from first burst of snow here in Strasburg.

pawatch
Just starting to snow here. NWS SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON AS AN ARCTIC FRONT CROSSES THE REGION. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT SOME OF THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY SNOW SQUALLS WITH GUSTY WINDS. THE SNOW SHOWERS MAY NOT MAKE ANY MORE THAN AN INCH OF SNOW...BUT THE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS WILL BE DUE TO LOW VISIBILITIES AND POSSIBLY ICY ROADS AND BRIDGES. TEMPERATURES WILL RAPIDLY DROP THROUGH THE 20S BEHIND THE FRONT.

PottercountyWXobserver
Light misty/flurry snow. We only got .2" overnight most of the snow ended by 10PM. Hopefully this arctic wave will bring more today. I see CTP has 4" now for me, we shall see about that!
CoraopolisWx
Might not be done. Definitely backbuilding here, also the aforementioned squall line is developing more to the east.
canderson
If it snowed overnight in Harrisburg, I can't tell. Cars were completely snow-free when I woke up around 7:45.

Voyager
I thought spring water didn't freeze How far you hauling 1 way? About 50 miles. The water in the tank won't freeze, but the small amount that remains in the hose fittings and valves will.
Itstrainingtime
A bit under an inch in Maytown which is quickly melting at 36F. I'd love to see a squall later even if it didn't produce much accumulation.
JamieOber
Sun shining through clouds with light snow, 33.5. Sun melting some of the snow. Okay, never had this happen before an arctic front - light snow with sun through thin clouds. Would the sun be enough to destabilize things a bit? I have no idea. Itstrainingtime
I'd like to know the same thing Jamie, it makes sense if you correlate it to a summertime severe weather threat. Clouds are usually the kiss of death. I have no idea about winter time frontal passages, though.
CarlislePaWx
Looks like about 1.0" here in Carlisle also. It was misting snow when I got up an hour ago but now it is snowing lightly with normal light snowflakes. 33.1 degrees. Guess we root on the arctic front for another inch later. Clouds are usually the kiss of death. I have no idea about winter time frontal passages, though. I keep looking at Pittsburgh's radar and wondering about that area of snow out there and what happens once it gets here. One thing I was also thinking about, MAG and I have been fortunate that small events like this either happen as expected or overperform this year. I am thankful because it makes it not quite as terrible as it might have been. I have .7 now, I didn't keep my Google Doc snowfall record this year, but I agree with MAG, we're probably in the low 20s for the season.

I was a career fire fighter for almost 30 years so I know how things can freeze up.
