JSTWX
18Z of course is all south. But it is 18Z who cares. 0Z will tell the tell tonight. The 18z GFS is not that bad, imo. This is going to be a "south of I-80 special", so it may not be too far off.

Storm Clouds
Is there any chance this storm holds off until Sunday? I am in Williamsport until then and I don't want to miss it!

It's actually the U.S. Government keeping tabs on who's doing what and where. Saying what and when. If they're seeing a bunch of weens pissing and moaning about the lack of snow, they'll fire off a few waves of HAARP and deliver. </tinfoil>

canderson
I just caught a ladybug as it tried coming into the house. It's February 3. Yeah, that's normal.
JSTWX
An there goes the rug. F this winter. Don't jump yet. The GFS still looks nice. Also, it typically does better with overrunning than the nam.

I think the problem over here will be temps. We might get the precip but it will be mostly rain.

JamieOber
I just caught a ladybug as it tried coming into the house. It's February 3. Yeah, that's normal. Ladybugs can be outside even if we have a normal or cold winter. All they need is a brief mild spell to rustle them from their hibernation. Even several days of 40s can do it depending on where they set up for the winter. The reason why the ladybug was trying to get into your house was it was looking for a place with stable temps as opposed to what it was dealing with out in the "wild". Unlike the average weather weenie, it's smart enough to know that there's a good chance winter isn't over.
JamieOber
Would not want to do any mid-range forecasting for the next two weeks. Models are not very consistent (as usual).
Santa Clause
Jamie..even you have to admit this winter has been a complete nightmare. It may have been better for those who cashed in on the clipper, but we're still easily in single digits out here lol.
