yoda
00z Ukie went the wrong way...completely whiffed on the two streams and suppressed everything south. Like the 00z NAM?
ORH_wxman
Like the 00z NAM? The end result is similar, though early on it looks like a little more promise.
BTRWx
The sounding on twisterdata appears warm at the surface, but the snow map shows some accumulation...
yoda
00z GGEM has a lot of QPF going on it appears at 48... rain? Mid 1000s low in NC by 60... good amount of QPF... still some shows up for us on the 72 hr map... not quite sure if its rain or rain to snow... MillzPirate
Wow... Ggem really bullish on qpf this run, even more so than 12z.... 35 to 40mm panels showing up near DC.... It must be off its rocker
Deck Pic
there is no inversion in this kind of setup so once you hit around 37 degrees and precip is steady you are snow.....rain doesn't really make sense....DCA probably never gets below 33-34, but that is fine..snow will stick at night at 33.8....probably start as rain for 2-4 hours
Amped
Might as well just post it. Nice Backhand Phase

ORH_wxman
Are any member showing the full phase like the GGEM? Several of them are actually...every single ensemble member is more phased than the OP run on the spaghetti plot except 1 it looks like that is about the same as the OP. ravensrule
either the gfs ensembles are really onto something big or they should never be looked at again I am hoping it's the first option, you have a better memory than me but do you ever remember the ensembles looking this good and we actually got nothing? Kmlwx
Not really, right on the md line, so I consider that the mid Atlantic. But thanks for your opinion It's not his opinion lol...the regional subforum boundaries are pretty clear. If you want to talk about York, PA you have to take it to the correct forum. If you want to talk about Baltimore, feel free to post here. He's the admin...it's not opinion it's the rule.
Ian
I am hoping it's the first option, you have a better memory than me but do you ever remember the ensembles looking this good and we actually got nothing? im not terribly religious about looking at them. i view far fewer models than the avg person in these threads it seems.. even if i do check every run of the gfs/nam/euro just about.
