nope, 14 from boxing day, 24 from 1.27, 6 in the a.m, 18 at night

the nesis are incorrect for my area for 1/27, and from boxing, you can see, im right next to the 15. JAD, Brian, Joe can confirm the 1/27 totals.

Agree, 1/27 was bigger-you have to count both parts for 1/27-those maps are not always spot on for a given location....

yeah, its really bad actually, it wasn't localized, it was from exit 6 through you at what, 24? that's a big area to not have a better representation of what fell.

The Nesis map also shows 18"-24" over LGA and my house in Astoria.

LGA reported 14" and I received 16" in Astoria. Another spotter in Woodiside also reported 14". The nesis map is flat out incorrect for Boximg day.

That needs to be changed for western Queens. Gonna email Nesis people now.

JFK also reported 15.6", as did Fresh Meadows with 16"

The entire Nesis map needs to change the western 2/3rds and eastern Brooklyn to the other shade of 12"-18"

It's right for me on boxing day, i am next to the 15, and i got 14

the big error for me is 1-27, it has nothing from the morning totals. CT coast in the morning was under a band for 2-3 hours and I-95 from greenwich to Fairfield got 4-6 inches. We were all posting it and reporting the same totals at the time.

Then at night, there was an additional 18 inches which the Nesis map does spot on, but it leaves out the morning totals.

It's not like this isn't backed up and verified by all the ct coast guys, he just wants to be difficult, probably because no one posts in his OT threads anymore.

the fact that the others are close helps-but every storm North Haven is the highest in that county--makes one wonder...Danbury is also noted to be higher than other nearby locals--possible that it's some sort of microclimate thing? maybe. Just seems weird that the same 1 or 2 places jackpot every storm.
