dendrite
I'll take 1" QPF up here with that track. Heck I'd take 0.25". Maybe I'd get my 25:1 ratio frontogenetic band.
CoastalWx
LOL it cuts off and swings spokes of qpf down from Maine for a day.
CCPSUSuperstorm2010
I'd like it west by 75 miles please. Actually, that is fine, I will definitely take that track. That is ok with me. Although I don't see how I don't changeover to rain regardless of the track of this storm. What gives? 1.75-2.00" of QPF is fine, but half of that is probably rain or a mix. A shift to the west by 75 miles, means that I am all rain. I think not. Again this is the 18z GFS run about 5-6 days out from the event. I would like to see the EURO get on board. Bryan
This would happen the week of finals, this clearly trumps any studying I needed to do. Would love to see this same run everyday up until Saturday, don't want it to get any closer to the coast and have p-type issues.
Baroclinic Zone
For posterity I'd had to do it. Round 1 Round 2 :drunk:

CCPSUSuperstorm2010
Close to 3" of QPF for Cape COd, MA with this GFS run. Probably 1" of QPF is rain.
moneypitmike
Well lets be realists for a few runs. It would be nice to get this solution inside 96 hrs. Thanks for the dose of sanity, Scott. Something to watch, though. 31.7/
40/70 Benchmark
I'd like it about 50 miles to the west, but I'd take that. Hopefully the EURO latches onto it because this is about the range where it usually locks onto a general trend.

Unfortunately I'll be in Kingston, MA by this weekend so if it does verify I'm sure there will be some sort of mixing as is the usual case down there. I am with you on the 50 mile shift, Tonights Euro should be interesting for sure, Have to wait and see if the GFS holds onto it at 00z as well....... Well the Euro was a tad east of the GFS, so that bodes well for not having this go insanely west all of the sudden. I think a larger worry with this is a whiff vs inland, but anything back to a hudson valley cutter is still on the table.

Damage In Tolland
Looking at all the players..it looks like this thing has some room to come farther west than it does going east or OTS
CT Rain
Looking at all the players..it looks like this thing has some room to come farther west than it does going east or OTS I'm not sure I agree. I think there is a higher threat of this going OTS than cutting way west.

No I dodn't mean cutting way west..but there's some things that are being modelled which argue for a track closer in
