dssbss
Is the potential for this evening pretty slim...My understanding is that this is more of a southern event and not Lehigh Valley/Poconos?

Parsley
HA! Checking out the 12z NAM, surface temps. are marginal but there could be enough cold air aloft for a period of light frozen precipitation across southeast PA (primarily north of the PA Turnpike). Myself, I'm not overly excited about it right now. Lets see what the rest of 12z models have to say.
fsu_wxgirl
My thoughts for right now are the temperatures are too warm in all of the layers. Yeah, there may be some places that have a "cold" pocket and you could see some sleet/snow/mix. However, I am not anticipating it to last very long as we start to receive warm southerly flow. I would say locations further to the north and around the Poconos would have a better chance of seeing cold enough temperatures for this to happen. phlwx
IMO, the best shot is probably north/west of 222. In other words, what fsu said.
PAPPG
Maybe change the thread to the rain event! I am hoping for a dryslot event as the yard has standing water.
Grothar
I expect a winter weather advisory to be issued at 11:00 pm for the LV and north and perhaps northern Berks, Montgomery and Bucks for .5 inch of snow and sleet and freezing rain to be gone by 9:00 am. PAPPG your backyard will not dry out soon. Urban flood advisory maybe for Thursday night?
