ag3
If that band in ocean holds, Suffolk county will pick up a nice snowfall.
jm1220
Light to moderate snow in Long Beach right now, roads are an icy and increasingly snowcovered mess. Tomorrow AM's commute is probably going to really suck since this was completely unexpected. If that band pivots up here, we could tack on another inch. gkrangers
nothing here in Marlboro. must be on the very edge. just flurries. I'm as far north in Holmdel as you can get, so that's why. I'd imagine the southern half of town isn't getting it.

supermeh
Is this heavier band just to the south of the city supposed to rotate through the entire area?

NJHurricane
Nice moderate band forming and looks like it will pivot over all of NYC area shortly. Been very busy today...anyone know what feature is causing this? I thought just a chance of a brief snow shower up there, this looks a more sustained period of light snow... psv88
Is this heavier band just to the south of the city supposed to rotate through the entire area? looks to me like the heavier band is having a tough time making it onshore...esp past the south shore of the island, the bands tend to fizzle off once they hit mid island. http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=OKX&product=N0R&overlay=11101111&loop=yes
