For tonight? Nothing really has changed, overall. It's just that some of the snow and mixed precip may start a bit earlier..maybe mid aftn for some. For you and I, it's down the drain.

below

where do you read excitement? just wondering, helluva snow sleet ice storm in the mountains, good base add with freshies on the back side. Good skiing weekend if they do not get 1/2 ice which looks possible. Different world up there.

thanks guys haven't been following...figured that the thought was something may have changed and the snow would be closer to home.

"cold" today, at least closer to seasonal.

Most mets on here had all of us wire to wire rainer

I think most commented on the typical areas starting as a mix..the wintry areas from Union CT and points north. Areas to the south...from 980' on down..such as your area, didn't look favorable, but the faster arrival of precip helps.

Will you have to run the a/c overnight on the south side of the muggy warmfront in DOR?

Quote: Ski areas will do well, but the biggest beneficiaries are likely to be the snowmobiling trails of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, Northern New Hampshire, and Northern/Northwestern Maine.

I feel for the rinky dink ski places in CT and Western MA-this is going to hurt...
