CT Rain
Looks like most of the inland areas stay 32 or below until tomorrow late aft I doubt late afternoon. This definitely isn't a classic CAD setup in terms of holding on to cold. The high slides southeast of Nova Scotia... it isn't staying north of us. You know the drill with how these work though..light winds/deep ,fresh snowcover...always takes longer to warmup than progged/forecast
ineedsnow
I think most place will be above freezing by noon the morning looks icy for the commute though not going to be fun

Models stay chilly through late morning but there's not much to prevent the blow torch winds from coming.

At any rate let's`try and keep snowcover for all until we can replenish it late week/weekend

High dews, gusty winds Monday night followed by upper 40s Tuesday means cya.

ineedsnow
you should go water your snow pack then let it freeze over then water again and then you might be able to save it other then that it should be gone! As in MRG and ORH too?
CT Rain
As in MRG and ORH too? I don't care about them. For most of us in metro boston, CT, and RI get ready to say goodbye.

I don't worry about the weather >1000 ft north of ORH or Springfield lol.
powderfreak
As in MRG and ORH too? LOL you are just dying for a met to say they will lose their snow too. You've been obsessed with them holding onto the snow longer today. And judging from Pete's pics and how well the east slopes hold cold air on those elevated benches of terrain... he won't be losing all of it. Not sure what the status of Will's area is. wxmanmitch
This looks very nasty here in the Berks, where temps could stay AOB freezing until midday here on the west slope, while pockets on the east slope could stay AOB freezing until late afternoon. I think we'll hold onto some of our snow, but we will lose a lot of it tomorrow night and even some more on Tuesday. Tuesday is an upper 30s to near 40 type of day for most around here in elevated WNE, although 2K is probably mid 30s. CT River valley is probably mid to high 40s on Tuesday, so they'll likely lose it all.

Yes, although it will likely be "heavier" on the east slope since winds will be easterly.

Logan11
I believe my snow will "set up" by morning Tuesday and we'll be in the mid 30's Tuesday with low dews.... Logan11
You probably have some viewers in nw CT lets say out toward Canaan that live in the >1000' GC type climate zone. Like Ian's old place in Goshen. To be honest I have no idea how much they have on the ground. I don't worry about the weather >1000 ft north of ORH or Springfield lol. ski MRG
I don't care about them. For most of us in metro boston, CT, and RI get ready to say goodbye. Really nice Ryan. Really nice. Actually I understand because I really couldn't care any less about what goes on down there in tropical CT. Thank God I don't have to worry about my layer cake snowpack burning off with a marginal torch.
