wdrag
appears to be true... just not sure if there is any residual pavement icing due to cold ground, despite 33-35F air temp. wd/phi
famartin
looks like outside of quakertown most everyone pretty quickly shot above freezing in SE PA? As of 5AM, RDG is 31 while ABE is 35... that's not particularly common, usually I would expect the reverse...

_AR_
snowing in York Pa area?? http://www.my-cast.com/#York,+PA lol wtf Anyway... This morning I woke up at 6 to see a coating of snow on everything, washed down a bit already at that point as I believe we were above freezing already, but maybe got 1/4-1/2" of snow. The freezing rain seemed to not be a problem throughout the area. I think the fact that it fell as snow for a while and most roads were already heavily salted saved us. Yup either because there was residual salt left from Saturday or they treated in anticipation, its amazing what a difference it makes. The morning lack of being able to commute on 1/7/94 was testimony to that.
