kevin1927
Been snowing nicely here all morning. No complaints from me. This is great compared to what we've had so far this winter.
wxmanmitch
What an utter failure this event is here in the Berks and GC. Terrible snow growth, virga ate up a lot of our limited QPF, and radar suggests it will shut down around 11 AM. I went 3-5" route 2 area, 4-6" along and south of the Pike, and I'll be lucky to get 2" Definitely a bust, my worst in quite some time. I really thought we'd get a decent little event when I saw the upstream obs on Chicago yesterday and the 18Z models ticking north, instead of a dry, weak, sheared out POS. Sorry but I'm in a grumpy mood this morning, but this is what a forecast bust will do. Congrats Fairfield County...you guys probably deserve it more than I do. 14.9° F, 1 SM -SN. snowman21
4.2 moderate snow. Nice... you must be just on the southern edge of that band stretching from Killingworth all the way into Rockland County NY. A bit of a lull here with a couple inches down so far. Flakes have been meager for the most part.
Clinch Leatherwood
storm is getting its feet wet. That best band is not getting much off the coast that's for sure but it doesn't seem to matter for some of you in terms of accums. It looks like Phil and I will get covered up by that band...hoping. Baroclinic Zone
Looks ugly the further west and north you go in MA though. Flake size got much better here just now. It did. I was just about to post this. Flakes look about 1/4in in since.

Man, if you rain in this event, then it's just time to give up the good fight and just end it.

HIPPYVALLEY
steady SN- 1" and it only took 3 hours to get it. lol Flakes have much improved the past 10 minutes but I think we only have an hour or two to go based on how fast the NW edge is collapsing.
