Left my brother's place in North Brunswick near int of Rt 1 and rt 130 25 minutes ago...at that time had bumped up to 2.7" unofficially....snow was just changing to about %80 sleet...on drive into New Brunswick for work....sleet changed to freezing rain, now in downtown NB a mix...%60 sleet, %20 freezing rain %10 snow still mixing. Roads, considering this is about a 3-4 inch snowfall, were less than stellar saw two spinouts. No update from home in Woodbury right now, wife is asleep.

Ended up with just a little over 3.5". I also agree with those who have posted about how great everyone has been in regards to this snow. No crying or complaining! Great job Philly forum. In a winter like this one we should be thankful for flurries! I however am sad that my call for a 99 degree high in Adam's thread ins going to bust.

2.8 inches here in Morganville, NJ NW Monmouth County. Those just to my NW and SE 'may' have picked up a bit more as I missed those heavier snow bands that came through about an hour or so ago. Have a nice icy toping to the snow too from the sleet. In any event, sounds like everyone is happy once again!! We needed that!! Let's hope for some more in the next 2 weeks!! Ok time to shovel! (I have a new snow blower too but would hate to bust it out for a measley 3 inches)

Changed to light sleet here in Metuchen, despite it being about 23F (it's gotten colder in the past hour or so) and the radar is looking like it's about over.

3.25" of snow, which is nice, but a little less than I was expecting - seems like we just didn't get the intensity some others got.

Warrington, PA 2.7" Ending as a long period of freezing drizzle.

So....I'm up to 7.8" for 11/12..... will I be lucky to hit double digits?

You will. I'm not sure about the next week or two but i have a good feeling about February. Maybe not the first few days but i think we have a nice turnaround coming for this winter. Totally opposite of the last two winters which were great up until early February, then winter ended and never came back.

You're right on the last two winters, great as they were, they ended around Feb 15 and never returned.. I heard some (JB?) believes a Feb flip....if that is indeed JB, I would temper down what he says, but if there is one, it should be enough to get that extra 2.2". I have seen winters where that has NOT happened however.

I do NOT think we will reach normal snowfall, at least in the SE PA, S/C NJ and DE region this winter, however.

I don't suppose there's any chance of the old "pivot" as the storm hits the coast and intensifies a bit, causing backbuilding in any part of NJ, is there? Hasn't seemed like an intense enough storm for that, but figured I'd ask.

Nope. This is not a nor Easter. Just a plain ole swfe. SW- NE flow.. Not the type of storm we've seen the last 2 years
