bluehens
Misty frozen rain falling in northern DE and I drove up to Aston for an ice hockey practice that got cancelled and the same up there. Roads are definitely an issue as its getting crusty. Any chance this at least turns back to sleet later when heavier stuff arrives?

dryslotted
in a lull right now. def looks like 2" as the official numbers that Ray posted reflect. You can tell that there was some zr/ip for a bit. The snow doesn't look as pristine as it did when I peeked out at 5AM...
SP
This is not offcial....its 15F out there and I am on my first cup of coffee. Pow Pow has returned to the Poconos for the second weekend in a row. Thus far we are passing through 3 inches. Its not what I would describe as S+ but its very fine powder that appears to be accumulating an inch an hour. Right now is the most intense I have seen since I stumbled down the stairs. The 3-6 or 3-5 forecast range for this area seems to be spot on, though the duration if extended could push us past 5-6. I have not looked at anything beyond this thread. Need to pack up the skiers and gear, clean off truck and drink more coffee.

bluehens
Radar looking very anemic north of DC once this current batch gets through so I hope this little patch delivers at least some good sleet. I guess I'd rather have the precip shut off though than get freezing rain later in the morning.
Boch23
Took measurements around my house for 10 mins ended up with 3 inches. Someone flipped the sleet switch about 15-20 mins ago. Very pleased with this storm considering
