Still waiting for my 3-6 inches he was calling for my area this morning. The sun is actually peaking out here this morning. ha ha ha

I love the fact that weenies continue to shell out $$$ to read his thoughts when he blabs half of his posts on twitter for free.

Amazing isn't it?? Oh well, I guess there is no harm in looking for any slimmer of hope for snow. We are all snow weenies at heart. I would just hope that most of us here can decipher reality from fantasy.

Its so cute when u look like a fool.....then point out a minor grammar mistake, as if you were the second coming of christ. I miss ur self glamour shot in ur avatar, and that baby blue visor twinkle toes.

Figures, no reasoning/all weenie. Let me know when we actually get consistent winter weather in the first month of meteorological spring in NYC.

"because it hasnt happened in a long time" isnt sound reasoning to prove either side of your argument.

No my reasoning was: first month of meteorological spring. Seeing as how NYC is technically in a humid subtropical climate zone, I'm not thinking there would ever be consistent winter weather in such a month. Furthermore, if it hasn't really happened in the past 30 years or so, one could logically conclude that the chances of it happening in any given March in the future are negligible if not outright 0.

Dont change the goalposts, his initial post didnt say anything about "consistent" winter weather. And considering i had 8" of snow a full month ahead of meteorological winter this season, your reasoning seems a bit flawed, no?

The phrase in question was "see winter in [March]." I interpret that as seeing some extended period of wintery conditions (e.g. days averaging below freezing). One event doesn't constitute a return to winter, so the Oct storm, as ridiculous, once in 100 years anomalous as it was, doesn't either.

Are you suggesting October was a winter month in 2011?

Ummm... maybe I'm wrong but I've never known JB to flip flop so much.

That way he can be right regardless of what happens.

reading his post though,he makes no mention of whether it's cold enough to snow....just says storm track to Nantucket by Monday 2/13....which means we remain the usual week away for any cold or snow.....

Its pretty clear the conversation revolved around snow, considering the comments about snow totals and depth. Everyone here understands March is not a midwinter month.

Stop using common sense....you do realize that since november every month after was suppose to be cold and snowy? Nyc is a warm tropical island...
