I don't think Mt. Holly agrees

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. North wind between 6 and 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind around 5 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46. North wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. North wind around 7 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44.

and I heard JB is calling for 3-6 inches in my neck of the woods. ha ha ha I'll be happy with my dusting to an inch.

They should at least put some precip for southern Jersey. All the models have precip for that area.

See 1956.

1956 spring arrived late in Connecticut...Norfolk measured 73.6" of snow in March and tacked on 27.7" in April...for a total of 177.4" on the 1955-56 season.

Norfolk had a lot of little storms that winter...they did have 10.3" on Nov 5, 1955.....32.3" from March 17 to March 20, 1956....and 19.2" from April 7 to April 9, 1956.

Actually Tim, not so amazing for Norfolk...they are just south of the MA line...the town is on a north facing hill with an elevation of 1337 feet...from 1951 -73 they averaged 110" of snow per year....

I agree with ur thoughts about march....eventually we will see winter in that month.....amazing to think the last 2 epic winters have been a month and a half....snow depth was amazing in both winters

This type of winter is really tough for all weather sites that rely on weather traffic for potential subscribers

and advertising. The last real spike Weatherbell had in traffic was Hurricane Irene and to a much lesser

extent the late October snow.

You realize this has been said since Nov about the following month.

Do you know his thoughts about march? You do realize im talking about march in general, and lack of winter in them the last few years....im well aware of the long term forecasting this winter....I think the bank thermometer went up a degree in nyc....please don't get to excited

I'd love to hear your reasoning (beyond the law of averages) about a return to wintery weather in March of this year or any given year in the future. Also, I'm not getting too excited. It's a nice early spring day out there!

I agree, at least parts of it are awesome. 60-degree days in March, 70-degree days in April and 80-degree days in May all rock. Its cool to watch nature come alive too.

While it is cool, I prefer watching nature slowly die (fall) than come alive, Spring is my least favorite season.

BTW - I laugh at the severe weather comment (edit: they live in florida, makes sense). At least for most of NJ/NYC, that's usually a pipe dream until late May at the earliest. Say hello to 40s/50s and overcast, basically a continuation of this winter.

Trenton tends to get more frequent warm days in March/April/May compared to Monmouth County and NYC/LI. The past few springs its often 70-73F in Villanova PA and in the 40s with an east wind back home in Monmouth.

For sure, spring is much nicer away from the coast.\

EDIT: While fall colors are nice, I find that generally, fall is a bit... depressing.
