SnowDemon
Biggest flakes of the storm so far. Beautiful. And this might be the heaviest as well.
SnowGoose69
The SPC WRF wins again, my only issue with the event was the WRF showing virtually no banding signatures, more or less thats exactly what happened, had we gotten a couple of those we might have seen more 6 inch amounts come out of it. MJO812
Good dendritic snow growth over here, best i've seen all day How much have you seen? There haven't been many happy endings this winter but this storm is definitely one of them. Many METS thought the models would trend north and warm things up giving us sleet/rain or all rain a few days ago and the opposite happened. Also it's not a marginal surface temp situation either, it's pretty darn cold for this one too so that's a plus. The models changed for the better on Wednesday night. Algreek messaged me saying GFS in big letters. I was in shock. Just like someone mentioned before, the models had mid to upper 40's for today with rain. I knew with a -pna and the PV pressing the cold air down, this storm wasn't going to cut inland.

It will be about an hour or so until this snow is out of here. http://www.intellicast.com/Local/WxMap.aspx?location=USCT0094&weather=hdRadarSmoothPaletteA

Hailstorm
there is a report button, lets all use that instead of screaming about it, me included, because this thread is about the storm, not him anyway, im just south of that band, looks like the merrit parkway is getting slammed no complaints here though, doing just fine, working on 4 inches. Yeah, I know. Problem is that I don't see that button while I'm using mobile version now.
