TheTrials
some patches in the radar near allsnow which is probably why some have sleeted down there, it may switch back with heavier echos but for the city on north, this band coming together now was well modeled and will up the totals pretty quick, except for metfan. The SPC WRF sort of picked up on that dry nose in that area as well, I think you'll eventually catch up here shortly.

danstorm
Flake size picking up, as is intensity here in Greenwich Village. Just took a beautiful walk through Washington Square Park where the snow was virtually untouched. Didn't measure, but estimating 1.5". Probably 5/8 mi. SN- right now but teetering on moderate. Liking the look of radar and the 850 frontogen signal. Things unfolding as expected for this event.
Blizzard92
Good luck up there. Down here northeast of Harrisburg, PA snow growth was extremely poor causing the radar to seem misleading. We picked most all of our 4.5in from the earlier batch. These recent bands have been mostly 2mi visibility needles.

SnowGoose69
The dry slot may be the cause of the farther north PL/FZRA line than some thought, thats the one aspect of dry slots people tend to overlook, they are somewhat of a problem in borderline events because they can allow warming in the atmosphere to advance a bit beyond expectations. It sort of killed the Oct 2011 event here by allowing the BL to modify.
TheTrials
12Z KOKX Sounding. surprised that doesnt show its fully saturated between -10 and -20 given how well they are doing down there. I wonder if the snow growth is lower where its saturated around 700mb
