jm1220
Man, that's about your 100th post about a "changeover in Long Beach"....we get it...if it happens, it happens...life goes on...I don't mean to be a jerk...I just am...but give it a breather.... BTW, it is fairly common for warm air to sneak up as far north as Pittsburgh...or even north of NYC's latitude...like Cleveland...with eastbound mid latitude cyclones....but with a strong anticyclone locked over New England...a good bit of the precip will still tend to fall as snow in the NYC area in those situations as the warm air has a hard time making it east of the mountains.... ? I really don't care honestly if we change over for an hour or two after a thump of snow. It's relevant though to keep an eye on trends to our west to get an idea of how the storm's progressing. Any decent sized snow this year is awesome.

Sn0waddict
Any reports of snow in SWCT yet? Kind of sad how awful SWCT is represented on this site, despite a decent population. So odd as somebody who grew up/lives in Fairfield when not in college.
nzucker
U made it! How was the drive. Nothing yet here Drive was fine, took about 3.5 hrs which isn't bad but I've made it in three hours when it isn't a Friday evening. Looks pretty here as the snow has coated all surfaces with temperatures in the low 20s. The radar presentation has deteriorated a bit but this could still be fun. Thanks for checking in, following a storm from my home in Dobbs Ferry is one of my favorite things...going to sleep for an hour or two.

With snow out the window and the 6z nam....the eye of that needle is looking a bit wider after all.
