NYCSuburbs Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 With the bands in southern NYC and Rockland County still in place, the heavier snow seems to be consolidating over Hudson county... hopefully I'll also get my 15-20 minute share of heavy snow before going back to the dry slot, the other possibility is for the banding in Morris county to start shifting a bit east. When I was taking the New Brunswick wx obs this morning I melted the snow that had fallen in the rain gauge and got about 0.20'' of liquid. And that was only through 7 AM. We should get near 4" when it's all said and done just like that one storm in that winter, and then we torch in a day and a half with rain. And then next week we stay torching.
