Dalfy
^ I think once the precip starts up again it will fall slightly. My temp and dp have risen a bit too when the precip shut off. Now I think its just freezing mist

BethesdaWX
temp up to 28.8, radar says nothing but it's drizzling. Jebman
However - Even tho I know I will be soaked by an inch of steady regular rain throughout the day today as temps rise into the low 40s here in the Mid Atlantic Tropics - I am heartened by the fact that there is steady freezing drizzle right now at 27 degrees and that conditions are quite slippery. In fact this amounts to one of the best times EVER for a jebwalk. Even tho we will soon return to our mild La Nina pattern - at least we got to enjoy approximately an inch of snow and even some sleet and freezing drizzle. I am reminded of how much I worship ice. In many delightful ways, freezing drizzle is one of the most enjoyable, satisfying forms of winter precipitation known to Man. I love to take jebwalks on the ice and to slide around just like a small child on the ice even though I am nearly 50 years old. I love ice, in fact, I worship it with all my heart, strength and soul. I get a hardon from watching motorists struggle to ascend hills while I, Jeb, effortlessly jebwalk right up a slick ice covered surface right past the motorist while the motorist and astounded bystanders all watch me walk by them on the slippery, dangerous icy surfaces, with their jaws resting on the ground in utter amazement at the spectacle my antics provide. I hope it stays in the mid 20s all day long with rounds of freezing drizzle and light freezing rain - and that we end up with TWO INCHES of solid ice accretion all over the Mid Atlantic Region by tonight at 10pm. I love ice with all my heart.

Jebman
Heavy freezing drizzle at 26.7 degrees is accreting on all surfaces. I can't even get in my car. ohleary
Drive into work from Reston to Camp Springs...light freezing drizzle the entire way. VA roads slushy, icy in spots, even the beltway. Saw one car spun out on the toll road. MD beltway just wet. Not sure if this is storm-related or MD just takes better care of its roads...or maybe all the construction on the VA beltway.
