I have a question. Washington Co. and NW is under a Winter storm watch. After reading the WP article and it placing Frederick Co. in Zone 4 why do we not have an advisory up here, or did I miss something?

NWS is going to wait until the 3pm forecast I guess. Remember, WaPo doesn't determine warnings/advisories.

I'd guess warnings will go up for the watch area and advisories elsewhere.

because the National Weather Service and the Capital Weather Gang are 2 separate entities.

Yea I know they are not one in the same. I guess in the past I had remembered the NWS issuing earlier. No biggie was just wondering. :)
