ahh, i see it in the logs. i think this one beat it by a second or something as it has an earlier topic id. sorry.. wasnt even looking to start one myself it just seemed like no one else was going to do it.

18Z NAM has the -10C line at 850 about 30-40 miles south of 12Z NAM at 15Z tomorrow

That's significant imo. Euro moving precip in faster and 18z nam pushing 850 further south are significant positive trends. We're less than 48 hours away and things are looking better for at least some winter precip.

Euro being a bit dry is the only caveat....let's hope the nam holds onto .5+ qpf.

If you like a tease then you will like this event. I am not confident on this one. Yes there is time for things to change. I still think early to mid February will be our chance for northern Va. I said well over a month or so ago we are all well over due for an ice storm. Still have my fingers crossed and hope the event plays out in everyone's favor.
