LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE

HAIL...AND DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE

LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM WOODLAWN TO CAMBRIA...MOVING

NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

IN ADDITION...AT 915 PM 60 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED WEST OF

MURPHYSBORO ILLINOIS...AND NICKEL SIZED HAIL WAS REPORTED IN

non severe, but about half a dozen lighting strikes w/thunder so far. . . still complete snowcover except for paved areas obv. . .kinda cool

Cool! Was hoping for a thunder shower up here, but everything will be over the lake before it gets this far north. Storm looks to passing over Midway soon.

I'm just hoping for enough rain to melt the snow of my wifes car....right now i have about 3 inches of cement to work on . . .

but, yeah...any thunderstorms is nice bonus...esp in january...

best wishes for the folks down south dealing with the nastier stuff
