wxsniss
Not quite the ballistics down in Taunton, or the pretty powder we saw here 1/16, but still another decent nibble at futility. I measured 1.1-1.3" at midnight... I suspect by the end of the night we have around 4.5-4.8" left to break 1936-37's record... seems within reach this Saturday. Clinch Leatherwood
About 1.5" inches in under an hour. Impressive! Yeah, it came down really hard for awhile..starting to diminish now. I'll measure when it's done, but it was 1.2" just now.
Baroclinic Zone
FYI hat light stuff is accumulating too. Cool. Maybe I'll eek out another 1/2". Time to sleep. Later gang.

Snow Bow
2.25" here not bad. Still moderate snow the last twenty minutes or so. Had a brief period of 1+ inch an hour stuff that just ended. As much as I love the heavy wet snow as it doesn't melt as quick and sticks to everything, transforming the landscape, these high ratio/perfect snowflake snowstorms are pretty sweet, even if it didn't deliver a widespread heavy accumulation. Clinch Leatherwood
base velocity was fascinating...that little spin kind of rotated up very near me...too close to keep me in the good snows. Came in on the high end of expectations. Just did a semi-final as I'm heading to bed, it's between 1.3 and 1.4". Flurries now

mike245
Of all storms, this is the one that is giving me my first post since finding eastern in 08 lol. I would say this was a good overperformer for my area. After going out for a drive(that was a bad idea) i came home to measure 4.5 inches of snow here in East Bridgewater. The road crews were completely unprepared for this. I didn't see one truck out with a plow on it, just sanders. At times i could only see 10-15 yard in front of me. Heres to hoping Saturday brings more of the same. Edit- Appartently this is my second post haha

The jackpots in this are very localized...basically a thin band from cold miser in NE CT across N RI to Bob to the south shore...its not like you missed a 50 mile wide band of advisory snow...you still pretty good I think.
