The models generally had this pegged pretty well...Euro was probably a bit too light...but it always was save for one run I think. But synoptics and then the mesoscale features expected made a forecast of 1-3" a very good one..with a few locally higher 4" weenie jackpots.

In these types of setups you do not take model stuff verbatim...you see a swath of 0.15" of qpf and you think good good convective snow bursts with decent snow growth and get a bit aggressive with the ratios and the local weenie jackpots. We've seen these types of setups before, and they are impossible to predict just where gets the 3-4" jackpot, as they are often quite local...but you know they will occur...and the rest of the region gets a general 1-3"

Make sure you tell them you're drunk and doing naked snow angels when you call in the reports. That's part of the training right?

Mod snow here but seems to be picking up intensity a bit. Looks like about 1/2" or so down so far.

2010 - I miss the Double Barrel storms where I Jackpot Everyone over 14".

2011 - I miss the Blizzard of 2011. Enough said.

2012 Tonight - I miss ANOTHER Jackpot for my Beloved Cumberland with 4" in TWO hours!!??!!??

AHHHHH!! I Hate the NAMM Show in LA!

But you rocked on 98.5!
