weatherMA
My school just called, 1 hr delay tmw... Not too bad for this system I just need to show up for 1 exam anyway. Same thing I did today. You a senior? Still steady -sn here, .4"
ORH_wxman
wtf...its like 1.5 SM here. I dunno, its def moderate here...its ripping pretty good. With such weak synoptics...little things like mild upslope and some weird convergence nuances could be enhancing snowfall locally that won't always show up on radar either. Cold Miser
Here's a tip...when you can see the earth tones directly behind the heavier band of precip...that'd be the back edge of the band of heaviest precip. lol - Even I know this - radar 101? Rates are a little better now, but I wouldn't call it moderate yet. With the band going S of here I bet I come in with less then 1"...but we"ll see. I don't see how I get much more honestly. ChrisM
Do you guys still think those lines in NY will rot even with all of the instability and moisture we have going over here? They haven't started their disintegration yet. Ripped apart by catskills?
ORH_wxman
ORH was 1/2 mile or less Nice accumulations here too: http://www.holycross.edu/webcam/ Lol, can still see the stupid "GIVE" carved into the old snow pack on that webcam...probably need another inch so its not noticeable anymore. Not sure we will crack 2" here as the best is in RI...but we have another band to our west to swing through, but not as intense as the current one. Prob will end up with like 1.2-1.5 unless that one intensifies more. But there should be some 3" amounts in those people who get the meat of the RI band.
