Yeah, picking up now. Big flakes, falling decently and piling up.

What is up with your crazy fonts lately? Sometimes they are tiny, sometimes they are huge.

i dunno . it's my gf's laptop. sometimes i type and i see after i post it that it's miniscule lol so i edit it and change it to 12 fon't and it still looks tiny so i up it to like 16 lol.

Does BID not have a precip sensor? Radar looks healthy overhead and they are not reporting any precip. Winds are whipping though.

Nope. That's what the AO1 indicates - no precipitation type descriminator/sensor.

Nothing here yet. Not even flurries. Can't say I'm disappointed since we were always going to be on the short end of this one even if it were to stay all snow.

I don't think there's any debating it, the Euro did a better job. Wasn't perfect by any means, but the NAM and GFS were well overdone particularly in a few previous runs

Winds really picking up here as are the temps

You are definitely looking at the wrong euro - it showed 0.2-0.8" of total snow accumulation amounts max in CT using their weenie algorithms!... we're getting numerous reports of 2"+ throughout CT it was way way low for the areas that are getting crushed as we speak.

How on earth can you possibly say it did the best job when it has horribly busted so far for areas getting hit by that heavy band?

Nice! Winds at GON backed to 70 degrees ahead of next band. I think this new band from Mt Tolland to HVN is going to go to town as itheads east. Convergence increasing.

Was just thinking that. It will be too little too late here unfortunately but prospects look good for intensification near the RI border. -sn here again

That main band has really come together. Seeing some 35dbz returns just NW of PVD. Eksters Attlehole looks to be in the crosshairs.

Who is the atkinsonweather poster?

You mean where? He posts as "Ryan" on here but hasn't posted since last year but I see him lurking a lot...he updates his website/twitter/facebook constantly so with school and stuff I'm guessing he just doesn't have time to post.

ORH down to 1/2 SM SN

Nope messenger said the back edge is approaching E CT even though it's still snowing at POU, you must be mistaken.

Here's a tip...when you can see the earth tones directly behind the heavier band of precip...that'd be the back edge of the band of heaviest precip.

If you want to continue to bait me on every post that's your choice, but it's probably better you do it in private message.
