IrishRob17
0.4" here.. Looks like we are gonna get fringed yet again on saturday.. Lovely. That 2.0" report out of Harriman does seem a bit high. I spoke to someone from Warwick earlier who said they had 2" so I guess its possible. TJay
That 2.0" report out of Harriman does seem a bit high. IMO That area always does well. I've seen some strange weather ocur there and along the I-87 corridor notably heaver snow fall rates than the rest of the county, wild tstorm lightning and blind'ing flizzards on the thruway. I had about 2" on my driveway that morning and I'm 1.5 miles South of Harriman Village. (also several hundred feet higher)

snywx
1" total here.. We had the elevation just not enough precip. Most of it stayed to our east
West Point, NY
Watching the WV loop and the cloud tops over Western VA are cooling rapidly and the flow is taking that area at or just west of us. Kind of hard for me to accept that that won't translate precip into our area as the storm gets going off NC later today.

Temps have fallen in the last two hours in Orange and are approcing freezing.
HeinzGuy
Yeah light snow falling here as well. 39/24. Wonder if we could see some accumulation out of this?
HeinzGuy
Looks like a rain snow mix thats not really accumulating much. 37/32 now. Maybe when the heavier stuff comes in tonight it will stick some if the temps drop a bit.

IrishRob17
Aside from a couple of small piles the snow is now completely gone from my yard for the first time since 12/24, I know, shocking news, right? The tubing hill in the park where I live took a real beating too, they were just starting to get a good base going on the entire hill finally last week. Glad my sons played pickup hockey on the outdoor rink there last weekend because thats back to being a pool again for the time being at least. I'm still holding onto a patch of snow along the woods in my backyard, probably 15'x20' or so. So since 12/24 I've had snow back there on the ground every day except for 2 1/2 days, not too shabby. Will more be added to it before it melts totally away??
