That 2.0" report out of Harriman does seem a bit high.

IMO That area always does well. I've seen some strange weather ocur there and along the  I-87 corridor notably heaver snow fall rates than the rest of the county, wild tstorm lightning and blind'ing flizzards on the thruway.

Aside from a couple of small piles the snow is now completely gone from my yard for the first time since 12/24, I know, shocking news, right?  The tubing hill in the park where I live took a real beating too, they were just starting to get a good base going on the entire hill finally last week.  Glad my sons played pickup hockey on the outdoor rink there last weekend because thats back to being a pool again for the time being at least.

 

I'm still holding onto a patch of snow along the woods in my backyard, probably 15'x20' or so.  So since 12/24 I've had snow back there on the ground every day except for 2 1/2 days, not too shabby.  Will more be added to it before it melts totally away??
