West Point, NY
Depends on what you mean by benefit. If you want more chance for severe than no. The gap is closing quick for discreet cells outside the main line to affect Orange Cty. As the line will be absorbing any that form as it closes in between 4 (west) and 5 (east)

West Point, NY
Looking at the present shape of the squall line, it has actually lost some intensity as it moved into EPA. There were cells with high 50's dbz an hour ago to the west of Allentown and now it's down to the high 40's. To me it has the look of a quick summer T-storm with the gust front being the main event. West Point, NY
Plenty of rotation will be embedded in the line. We will see how they react as they come out of the Poconos and into Western Orange. One thing we have going for us is the perfect time of day. xram
Depends on what you mean by benefit. Benefit as in less intense. I think we've had enough damage over the past year. Not looking forward to any more long term power outages. We lose power when someone sneezes too hard.

There are a few other storms trying to pop out in front. The line is starting to hit some of the more unstable air around here, we'll see what that does for the storms. Yeah, one blip just west of Middletown and a couple of cells in Passaic and Morris getting going. The one near high point is gonna get absorbed as it enters Orange Cty.(after it nails Port Jervis) as the line is encroaching on the Delaware River as we speak. West Point, NY
Not often you see warning going up for the counties along the west shore hudson river from the HV to NYC from a line that is still crossing the Delaware.
