Just came in from clearing the driveway- somewhere between 4-5 inches.

We have big time ice mixing in now down in Monroe so it's getting pretty rough out there. Was hoping we would stay snow longer but we got a nice thump and I got to bust out the ATV and have some fun out there : )

SN here now and 19.4F. A couple inches down in about 90 minutes time. The flakes are small and grainy, but piling up well.

Secondary just came a bit too far north for us to hold off the PL but it will solidify the pack for hopefully a reinforcement on Saturday. Low seems to be getting shunted east now so I can't see the warm air aloft getting past the Liberty-Kingston line this far west.

This is wild. Now with the heavier echoes moving back in the pingers are going wild again. More SN with lighter echoes and ice with heavier. Usually it is opposite.

I was afraid that the heavier echoes was actually sleet. I'm currently ripping snow, hopefully stays that way

Sleet has a stronger radar return than snow. When you see strong returns in the winter, there is a good chance it's sleet.

This was the strongest echo yet and the good news is that the snow is still fighting to stay in the game. If we go through the balance of the night alternating from + PL to SN, I will be happy.
