I'm not liking the weekend threat, but I'm not going to punt it 4 days out. I agree. I don't get as worked up over this stuff as many of you folks do (and that's no dig at anyone else), so it doesn't bother me as much, but I can certainly understand the frustration. I don't get as worked up over this stuff as many of you folks do (and that's no dig at anyone else), so it doesn't bother me as much, but I can certainly understand the frustration. I just wait for someone else to tell me when to punt. I understand the frustration as well, but its the weather... there is NOTHING any of us can do to change it, make what we want happen happen, move things east, shift things west... we cannot do any of that. What is really frustrating is the constant weenie suicides over a bad model run, punting days out, hugging models, saying you were on board from the start, etc. That's how people quickly become put on my ignore list. Wouldn't be interezting if we got a weaker version of jan 31 1966 the snowstorm that was not modeled or forecasted, but just happened!!! That was my first real""blizzard"". At 8:00 sat morning the forecast was for sunny skies, col highs in the mid 20's , by 8;30 it had changed to heavy snow warning and by 10:30 it was snowing hard. The storm closed balto for, I think at least two days, mayne more.That year i grad from high schhol. My first memorable snowstorm. Snow flakes came down,at one time at the rate of 4" an hour.
