Even though myself, you and H2O don't see eye to eye most of the time i can get along with anyone here except Trixie. Finally someone calls me out too in all this. This is a sore spot for me. It is utter and complete crap that mapgirl is a problem wrt being mean or is even "trixie" like. I have been just as vocal if not moreso in trolling and commenting on the dumb posts that so many make. So let's knock off the notion that only mapgirl is the problem. We have been told that there is not a big weenie problem in the MA so the "clean up crew" needs to STFU. 87storms Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 how does a post which contains bad or incorrect information add value to anyone? and how does cluttering a model discussion thread with pointless posts add value to anyone? ok, if it has incorrect information and has the chance to mislead everyone, then i can understand someone calling it out. although it doesn't have to be in a rude manner since it could be a mistake, not to mention being rude can escalate a situation. however, most of the posts i'm talking about are not incorrect information, it's just typical board talk. in those cases, complaining about these posts can make things worse, and clutters up the board even more. these are the ones that i'm talking about. most posts (what you call "pointless posts" ) are just better off left alone because they could add value to someone else. I get stupid with my posts sometimes, but i dont take an idiot seriously. The rule is only people who matter to you have an effect on you. Unless trixie posts a picture of her stop sign disappearing in bliding snow heading for the metros, i dont give a rats read about her or her nuisance posts, were here to enjoy the weather, as life has far worse things to be po'd about. I don't find stupidity entertaining, but I guess that's why The Three Stooges are so popular. also, it's weird how you've never posted anything before on the wx-side--no obs, no comments about model runs--but are all over this topic. i'm a sports junkie so most of my time is on those boards. i'm not a big weather junkie, but i've always liked a good snowstorm, so i like to come on here and read a little play by play every now and then. so to me, seeing complaining about posts i find entertaining is clutter.
