bluewave
The 12z SPC-WRF has light snow falling in our area from 10pm tonight through 6am tomorrow morning, from the clipper. 4km NAM most generous north and east.
ag3
4km NAM most generous north and east. Im basing it off sim radar. Has decent returns from 10pm through 6am. Doesnt translate well into qpf because I assume the model is treating it as virga.
NorEaster27
I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since NYC got 2.9"... What's even funnier is that NYC may get the same amount of snow as they did on 10/29.. Yet it will stick a lot better this time around.. not much better, 50s by Monday

Brian5671
The Binghamton radar is down now too... that makes three . it would almost be cool to experience an event without any radar at all--just like the old days...
jiksports
it would almost be cool to experience an event without any radar at all--just like the old days... Maybe it's a Saudi Arabian hacker. Nobody would expect them to take down our weather radar system.

earthlight
The latest SREF is still warm. They take the low right over NYC. I don't know what you're looking at to be honest. They are colder compared to the 09z SREF and there is barely a surface low reflection until its off the coast hundreds of miles into the atlantic ocean.
