WeatherFox
Come on... Giant flakes falling and sticking inside the NYC borders. IMO, none of us could do better on a consistent basis. Enjoy what is happening IYBY.

NYCSuburbs
It's not much but technically I have 0.1" of snow outside... everything is coated with snow, especially paved surfaces, with moderate snow/sleet still falling. At least this ends my 78-day spell of no measurable snow.
psv88
Snowing heavily...actually snowing heavily here in central nassau!!! Elevation 150..haha..

LongBeachSurfFreak
Snowing heavily...actually snowing heavily here in central nassau!!! Elevation 150..haha.. Rain to your south. Occasional flake still mixing in which is a miracle with the wind off the water. These 925 temps must really be holding!! That and just enough west in the flow over western long island to negate the ocean slightly.
FPizz
That is pretty amazing that long island. I don't think I've even seen a flake and I'm by Rutgers.
ag3
That is pretty amazing that long island. I don't think I've even seen a flake and I'm by Rutgers. Colder air wedge was further east with this event. Ruc nailed the 925mb temps. Should stay below zero at 925 through 5z, for NYC and north and east. Thunderdude
Rain/Snow mix falling here and when it gets heavier it at times becomes mostly snow. Update: Now it more rain/sleet mixing with few snowflakes still mixed in. This is usually nothing to get excited about where no accumulations are expected. Still nice to get a trace again.
