TTs still approaching the mid 50s on the NAM later this evening for eastern areas...which still suggests some heavier bursts of convective snow mixed in. The steep lapse rate going right into the snow growth region too should only help.

Even if you look at the sim radar products for various high res models..you can see that band come through.

It'll be a good burst of precip but the NAM is fast, and just cut back on the moisture it seems. Just one run, but typically SE winds don't bring us as much here as we'd expect.

Drag talked about it all the time in the old days.

Yea not a blockbuster or anything but it will rip for a while. OT I had to take the day off for the washing machine tech to come , needed it anyway, will be a posting Ho.

BTV has been watching this same scenario up this way across NNY, translating SEward into central/southern VT and SNE.

THE LOCAL BTV 4KM AND HI RES ARW SHOW PROGGED COMPOSITE

DBZ RETURNS BTWN 35 AND 40 IN A NARROW RIBBON ACRS THE SLV THIS

EVENING...SUGGESTING THE POTENTIAL FOR A BURST OF SNOW...WITH VIS

BLW 1/2SM AND BRIEF SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 OR 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

HOWEVER...THIS WL QUICKLY SHIFT EAST INTO THE DACKS...AND FAST

MOVEMENT OF SYSTEM WL LIMIT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS.
